How much does it cost to sell paintball gear on Paintball Vault?
Listing is free. Sales of $200 or less have no seller fee. Above $200 you pay 2.5% of the order total, all-in, capped at $49 per item. There are no listing fees, monthly fees or payment processing fees on top.
Is the seller fee charged on shipping?
Only on sales above $200. The 2.5% is calculated on the order total, which is the item price plus any shipping the buyer pays, and it never exceeds $49 per item. Whether a sale is free is based on the item price alone.
What does the buyer pay?
Buyers pay the item price, shipping, any applicable sales tax, and a Paintball Vault Protection fee of 2.5% + $0.30 on the items plus shipping. Protection covers every order with shipping insurance and a full refund if it never arrives. None of it comes out of your earnings.
How do I ship my gear?
When your gear sells, Paintball Vault creates a prepaid shipping label for you. Print it at home or use a QR code at the Post Office. Ship within 6 days of the sale using the Paintball Vault label; the carrier's first scan is what counts.
When do I get paid?
Once the buyer receives your gear and reviews the order, or after the 48-hour automatic review window, your earnings transfer to your Stripe account and pay out to your bank. You'll need to verify your account with Stripe before your first payout.
Can buyers make offers on my gear?
Yes, if you turn on Accepts Offers. You can accept, decline or counter, and set a minimum offer amount so you never see lowball offers below it. Accepted offers give the buyer 48 hours to complete the purchase.
