Making A Purchase On Paintball Vault
Found some gear that you'd love to own? Tap "Buy Now" to take you directly to checkout or "Add To Cart" if you want to keep shopping. Once you are ready to checkout, just follow the prompts from there to fill out your payment and shipping information. Your information is kept secure and is only used to ensure a safe and reliable transaction. Paintball Vault uses Stripe for its payment processing which is trusted by some of the world's largest companies.
When You're Charged
When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the total — you'll see it as a pending charge, but no money has moved yet. The charge completes when your order ships, or at the latest 6 days after purchase.
If your order never ships, it's cancelled and the hold is released — you're never charged. Released holds typically drop off your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
A few details worth knowing:
- Financing: If you pay with Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay, your installment plan starts when the charge completes — not when you place the order.
- Multi-seller orders: If part of your order is cancelled, you're only charged for the items that ship.
Making An Offer
If you're looking for a better deal, tap "Make An Offer" on any listing that accepts offers and let the seller know what price you're willing to pay. You can include a message with your offer, which starts a conversation with the seller.
Some sellers set a minimum offer amount on their gear. If they have, you'll be told what it is when your offer comes in under it — raise your price to at least that amount and you can send it.
Once your offer is in, the seller can accept it, decline it, or counter with a price of their own. You can only have one open offer on a piece of gear at a time, and you can't make an offer on your own listing.
Countering An Offer
Offers on Paintball Vault are a back-and-forth negotiation. When a seller counters your offer, it's your turn: you can accept their price, decline it, or counter back. There's no limit on how many times an offer can go back and forth — but the turn always alternates, so you can't counter twice in a row. Whoever is on the clock is shown on the offer, along with the current price.
Counter-offers still have to meet the seller's minimum offer amount, if they've set one. Counter-offers aren't available on offers covering more than one item.
How Long An Offer Lasts
An offer expires 48 hours after it's sent. Every counter resets the clock, so each new price gets another 48 hours for the other party to respond. We'll send a reminder 24 hours and 1 hour before an offer expires so nobody misses it.
If the 48 hours run out, the offer expires on its own and the price is off the table. You're free to send the seller a new offer after that.
After A Seller Accepts
All offers are binding. Once a seller accepts your offer — or accepts your counter — you have 48 hours from the time of acceptance to complete the purchase at that price. The accepted price is applied automatically when you check out; you don't need a code.
If you don't complete the purchase within 48 hours, the accepted offer expires and the gear goes back to its listed price. Buyers who do not purchase accepted offers may be restricted on offer access at the discretion of Paintball Vault.
Completing A Purchase
Once your purchase is complete, you'll get an emailed receipt and a Push Notification (with enabled permissions). It will include the original listing price, the total amount you paid and any applicable sales tax and shipping cost. You can also access your receipt directly from your Orders screen.
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking notifications for your order on your Orders Screen, as well as through email and Push Notifications.
Ensuring A Safe Transaction
After receiving your gear from your order, you'll have 48 hours to review the transaction and rate the experience with the seller. If you haven't submitted a review within 48 hours of confirmed delivery, the transaction will be automatically rated as a positive experience on your behalf. Once the transaction is rated, the seller will get paid and the transaction will be complete. Make sure to reach out with any issues before rating a transaction.
