Every sold order is listed under Selling in the account menu. A dot next to Selling means an order is waiting on you.

How To Accept An Order

  1. Open the account menu and press Selling.
  2. Find the order marked Awaiting Acceptance. The countdown under it shows how long you have left.
  3. Check that the gear is still in your hands and ready to ship.
  4. Press Accept Order.

The order moves to Awaiting Shipment, and you can create the shipping label.

Don't see Accept Order? You need to verify your account with Stripe first. Press Verify Your Account on the order and follow the steps. See Verifying Your Account.

Can't fulfill it? Press Need to cancel? under the order, then Contact Paintball Vault To Cancel. Don't let it run out: an order that isn't accepted within 72 hours cancels on its own. We'll remind you at 24 and 48 hours.

How To Ship An Order

  1. Under Selling, find the accepted order.
  2. Choose how you'll get your label:
    • Create Label makes a 4x6 shipping label. Press Print Label to open it, then print it on a label printer or regular paper.
    • Create QR Code (USPS orders only) gives you a QR code instead. Press View QR and show it at the post office counter, where they'll print the label for you.
  3. Pack the gear in the box your shipping policy describes. Pad it so nothing moves, and tape the label flat on the largest side.
  4. Drop the package off with the carrier on the label, USPS or UPS, within 6 days of the sale.

That's it. Once the carrier scans the package, the buyer is charged and both of you start getting tracking updates.

Always ship with the label from the order. Packages sent with your own postage, or handed over in person, never get a scan on the order. They can be cancelled and refunded, and you won't be paid.

Lost Your Label?

Press Print Label (or View QR) on the order again. It opens the same label, so nothing is charged twice. The buttons stay on the order until the package is in transit.

How To Change A Shipping Label

The label is bought for the carrier, service and package size the buyer chose at checkout, based on your shipping policy, so it can't be changed from the order.

If the label is wrong, for example your box is bigger or heavier than the policy says, or you need a different carrier:

  1. Don't ship it with the wrong label. The carrier can charge the difference, and that charge can come out of your earnings.
  2. Contact us with the order and the box size, weight or carrier you need. We'll help you get the right label.
  3. Then update your shipping policy so future labels are right. See Shipping Your Gear.

Editing your shipping policy after a sale doesn't change the label for that order. It only changes labels for future sales.

How To Check If An Order Is In Transit

  1. Open Selling from the account menu.
  2. Find the order. Its status shows where it stands:
    • Awaiting Shipment: the label is ready, but the carrier hasn't scanned the package yet.
    • Awaiting Delivery: the package is on its way.
    • Review Requested: delivered. The buyer has been asked to review.
  3. Press Track Package to see every scan on the carrier's website.

You and the buyer also get an email and a push when the package is first scanned, while it's in transit, if a delivery attempt is missed, and when it's delivered.

Dropped it off but still showing Awaiting Shipment? The first scan can take until the end of the day, or the next business day, to show up. If it still hasn't been scanned after a day, check your drop-off receipt and contact us.

What If The Buyer Doesn't Leave A Review?

You still get paid. Buyers have 48 hours after delivery to review the order. If they don't, the order is automatically given a positive review and your earnings are sent.

Your earnings are only held if the buyer reports a problem by opening a dispute in their review. If that happens, the order shows Dispute Requested. Reply to the buyer in your conversation and try to resolve it, and we'll follow up. See Reviews.

Getting Paid

Once the order is reviewed, its status changes to Awaiting Payout and your earnings are transferred to your Stripe account, usually within one business day. You'll get an It's Payday! email and push, and the order shows Complete. Stripe then pays out to your bank. See Getting Paid.
